Elvis to Perform at the Heritage Festival

This year, the committee is proud to announce that Chris Ellis, a recording artist, worship leader and entertainer, will perform as Elvis at the Campbell County Heritage Festival. As a native of New Bern, NC Chris grew up in a Christian home and was influenced by the music of artists like Elvis Presley and Squire Parsons. The son of a Baptist pastor, Chris has been singing in church since he was a child and it was at this early age that he came to faith in Christ. He moved to Virginia to attend Liberty University and currently resides in Appomattox, VA with his wife, Cheryl and sons, Matt and Josh. In 2013, Chris recorded his debut project "Songs of My Father" a collection of hymns and gospel songs that are favorites of his family. Chris specializes in solo ministry or worship leading in the church while also paying homage to early influences with an Elvis vocal tribute and 1950's tribute. His passion for the music of Elvis Presley shines through in his vocal performances.
